In October Bob and I explored this national park for the first time and found three beautiful pools. As we were walking out we saw a track going off to the left and a wide beautiful creek beckoning down the valley. The maps says that it is O'Hares Creek. Join me to check it out. Off track, rock hopping, swimming but not a long distance. (<10)

A classic lilo trip down the beautiful Wollangambe River which passes through various sections of canyon. Even though we lilo down the Wollangambe, we will still be scrambling, up and around logs, climbing up and around some house sized boulders, although no abseils the entry requires an exposed climb down tree roots although there is good hand holds. Descent /ascent to get to Wollangambe is approx. 330 metres. There is numerous long cold swims so a canvas lilo and wetsuit are required. We are paddling & walking down river for 5+ hours, so you need to be fit. On a sunny day this would be one of my favourite Span activities. As with all Span activities, you will be required to sign the Span sign-on and Acknowledgment of Risk Form which is available for review on the Span website.
