Trips Program

Some of the trips on this program are open to Visitors. You may contact the leader of a 'visitors welcome' trip by clicking on the leaders name. This link is only available for trips commencing within the next two months.

We invite prospective members to take the oportunity to experience our activities and meet our members before joining our club. Due to insurance restrictions we can only allow prospective members to participate in a maximum of two trips. To participate in additional trips you must join our club.

All persons participating in our trips must be aged 18 years or older.

Cycle - Road: Waterfall to Wollongong

A very scenic ride descending into the Royal National Park and then tracing along the coast through the northern suburbs of Wollongong. Lunch at North Wollongong before returning. There is the option of taking the train back to Sydney from North Wollongong or riding back as far as Thirroul before boarding the train. Ride distance is approximately 45km to Wollongong or 60km if riding back to Thirroul.

Follow the Walumarra track through a good cross section of the Royal National Parks flora, from mallee heath, woodland and down to a small rainforest in Bola Creek. We then cross Lady Carrington Drive and then do the Forest Path circuit. We will do a car shuffle so we will leave one car at the start of the walk and the other car at the end of the walk at the end of Lady Carrington. Walk is only about 10km max.

Bushwalk: Mt Bushwalker and return

From Mt Bushwalker to the Clyde River via Claydon's Creek and return. 3 cruisey days in the Clyde River area. The first day should end on the Clyde River and the second day we can make our way downstream and maybe up Holland Gorge. The last day will be a return trip up Claydon's Creek.

This is a fairly straightforward walk from Katoomba to camp on Kedumba Creek via Mt Solitary. Day 2 will be return via Sublime Point Ridge trail. Kedumba Creek has a variety of lovely campsites downstream or we can camp where the trail meets Kedumba Creek.

Bushwalk: Work Wodi Track
