Trips Program

Some of the trips on this program are open to Visitors. You may contact the leader of a 'visitors welcome' trip by clicking on the leaders name. This link is only available for trips commencing within the next two months.

We invite prospective members to take the oportunity to experience our activities and meet our members before joining our club. Due to insurance restrictions we can only allow prospective members to participate in a maximum of two trips. To participate in additional trips you must join our club.

All persons participating in our trips must be aged 18 years or older.

A classic abseiling trip as a warm up leading into canyoning. Several long and exposed abseils both on and off rope from Castle Head down to the Ruined Castle but your rewarded with excellent views overlooking Mt Solitary. Abseiling experience required.

Cycle - Road: Nowra Cycling long weekend

Come and stay in Nowra on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. We will go for an easy ride on Thursday afternoon. And, do longer rides on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We will stay in budget accommodation, near the River. Easy access to Nowra by train if desired. Join us for all or some of the nights/rides. All rides start in the "helicopter" carpark, near the southern end of the Shoalhaven Bridge, Nowra.

Canoe: Hawkesbury Canoe Classic / Paddle or Checkpoint

Paddle the 111km race or come and help on a checkpoint. Feed hundreds of paddlers from midnight to dawn. An even better atmosphere for volunteers than the Sydney Olympics. Not much moon this year. General information at http://www.canoeclassic.asn.au, contact me to help on the checkpoint.
